So to say that I was a little nervous for my doctor's appointment and sonogram would be an understatement....I couldn't sleep very well Monday night and was so anxious Tuesday morning. Got to my appointment on time and the best part was that Jason made it right on time as well. Bad part, we had to wait 30 minutes past our appointment time to be seen. The lady was late!!! So I go into the room and push my pants below my belly like she said, she starts to do her thing and then tells me I need to push my pants lower, so of course I get scared that she can't see anything. Jason took my hand and I couldn't look at the screen. Finally I asked her if everything was ok and she was like "yup." Um hello, when were you going to say something??? I was freaking out, but in the end it was all good. I heard the heartbeat for like a second and then she was done. I guess because she was 30 minutes late, she needed to get each patient in and out quickly. No picture, but got a cd with a 2 second video of the sonogram, so of course I froze the screen and took a picture of that. Here it is...
Look at how there is a heart around the baby. I mean how much more perfect could that be? I am very excited that stress is over. Official due date is Sept. 20, 2012. It seems like FOREVER away, but I know that in no time I will be saying, oh my I can't believe the baby is here already. I really cannot wait until that time. Pregnancy doesn't really suit me well, but I know the end result will be worth it. I will try to stay updated on here. Next appt. is March 19th.
